Graduation Stories: Laurel Campbell
We asked graduates to share their journey to graduation. Here is what Laurel Campbell (Strategic Human Resources) had to say in her own words…
Since I started the program in 2017 at age 53, I have witnessed both my kids graduate from college. I trained for and ran my first half-marathon. I traveled to New Zealand and Australia, not to mention numerous business trips. I left a job I loved and had done for 16 years to try something different. I battled breast cancer and survived (so far) a global pandemic.
This week I proudly graduate with my Master’s from DU a better person for all I have learned during this program and experienced in life. My thanks to all my professors and classmates for the education, feedback and support along the way!
Congratulations, Laurel!
