Craft Your Life and Work with the University of Denver

While staying in one profession your entire life was the common practice in the past, those days are long gone. Statistics show that the average worker today may switch jobs five to seven times in their life, and many are completely changing careers. According to a survey by Indeed, 49 percent of participants said they’ve made a dramatic career shift. The average switcher was at the mid-career point.

There are many reasons why people look to make a change in their career path. Among them is not feeling fulfilled in a role, the inability to demonstrate their talents or interests in their current position, and shifting personal and professional values.

The good news is the Indeed survey showed that 88 percent of career switchers were happier in their new endeavors.

Are you finding yourself at a crossroads in your personal and professional development? What are the next steps you can take to craft a life and career of achievement, impact, and fulfillment?

University of Denver’s Center for Professional Development is offering a new course, Crafting Your Life and Work, to help you gain more clarity, direction, and motivation for your next chapter.
