Winter Term Update: Remote Courses Through January 17

We hope you are enjoying the break between quarters and that you’re staying safe this holiday season.

As communicated December 29 by Chancellor Haefner, the University of Denver will begin the winter term with remote classes and meetings through January 17. While campus will remain open, please note our staff will be working remotely through January 18. Any in-person appointments or meetings will be moved to Zoom, and new appointments will be scheduled to meet online as well.

If you are currently enrolled in a hybrid campus course, class meetings originally scheduled to meet on campus in week 1 and week 2 will now be held synchronously via Zoom from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the day your course was originally scheduled to meet. Class meetings weeks 3-10 will remain the same as previously scheduled and can be confirmed on the University College website.

Steps for returning to campus can be found here. You must test at least two days prior to resuming your in-person courses, appointments, and activities. If you have any questions about testing or campus clearance, you may contact covidcoordinator@du.edu. If you have additional questions or concerns about the winter term, please reach out to the Student Support Center at 1-800-347-2042 or ucolsupport@du.edu beginning Monday, January 3 when our office reopens.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year and start of the winter quarter.
