New Additions to the MA in Arts and Culture Management Program

As Denver Arts Week kicks off, what better time to announce exciting new additions to the MA in Arts and Culture Management program? At University College, we’re constantly evaluating our programs and looking for ways to create the most relevant offerings that align with both our students’ aspirations and the market’s needs. That’s why we’re pleased to introduce two new concentration areas:

Arts and Culture Outreach and Advocacy
Develop skills you need to cultivate connections and advocate for arts and culture in your community. In this program, you’ll learn to design engaging events and target programming to specific audiences, apply entrepreneurial thinking to help your organization—nonprofit or for-profit—develop a strong community presence, and create winning proposals to secure grant support for outreach and advocacy initiatives.

Arts and Culture Marketing
Cultivate effective strategic arts and culture marketing initiatives and explore the most effective ways of assessing the impact of your campaigns. You’ll learn to identify, develop, and retain key audiences by leveraging various promotional channels, including traditional advertising, digital communications, and social media. Our industry-savvy instructors will help you develop the practical knowledge you need to contribute creatively to arts and culture marketing teams.

Interested in pursuing a graduate certificate or master’s concentration in one of these areas? Reach out to Enrollment Manager Chris Heriza (chris.heriza@du.edu or 303-871-4785).
