Stay Connected with Virtual Resources

Our community may be physically distancing during this time of COVID-19, but we will always be #OneDU. The University of Denver family, including us here at University College, is working hard to ensure we all stay connected and supported via a wide variety of meaningful, free online opportunities.

From virtual dance parties for the whole family to accessible, continued learning, we’ve compiled a list of virtual programming resources to support everyone during this time. We are a community, and we are here for you.

University-Related Resources

The University of Denver launched Stay Connected, a new website that offers a wide array of virtual programming. Find webinars with DU faculty and other experts addressing mental and physical health and wellness topics, career advice, programming for children and parents, and much more.

Project X-ITE launched COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Resources for Students, Faculty, Staff, and Community Members, featuring a compilation of DU-hosted events and communications, topics like online teaching and learning, mental health, free fitness workouts, startup connections, and more.

The Community + Values Initiative will be hosting a series of webinars on topics such as community service in a virtual world, “the coronavirus economy,” how to manage your personal finance, spoken word poetry, and many others. For more webinar information, email CommunityPlusValues@du.edu or visit the DU Impact 2025 website.

The Colorado Women’s College will be hosting Facebook Live Friday Features, with the kick-off on April 17, Equity from the Inside Out, featuring a conversation with Colleen Abdoulah and Ann Ayers. Visit the Colorado Women’s College Facebook page for information on other events.

Writing Assistance

The University Writing Center will be moving all of its resources online. It will be offering consultations using Zoom, as well as a series of online open house sessions, so students can drop in, ask questions, get a demo of how consultations work, and more. Email wrc@du.edu with questions, or visit the University Writing Center website.

Open Write Night will be offered entirely online this spring quarter to provide drop-in writing support. You will be able to get one-on-one writing assistance from University College faculty. Two sessions will be offered each quarter to provide support throughout the term. Learn more.

Remote and Virtual Communications Resources

It’s a new world for many with virtual meetings and remote learning becoming the norm. Learn how to best communicate and lead during this time with these online courses.
