Juneteenth is a Day to Reflect, Examine, Advocate
Tomorrow marks the 155th Juneteenth celebration in the United States. While the Emancipation Proclamation was issued on January 1, 1863, the enforcement of the proclamation reached each state by June 19, 1865. This holiday marks a special day in our history, and as a community we are inspired to reflect and act, particularly at this moment in our history.
