Certification Preparation Key to Accelerating HR Careers
For those in human resources (HR), a certification is an ideal way to establish operational knowledge and expertise, as well as solidify leadership skills. Whether seeking to enter the profession, new to the industry or a seasoned professional, there’s a certification available to advance an HR career without putting it on hold.
A critical component to earning an HR certification is proper preparation. The Center for Professional Development through University College, the college of continuing and professional studies at the University of Denver, is now offering HR certification preparation courses entirely online to help professionals launch or advance their careers.
HR professionals can choose from three course options that incorporate study tips, test-taking strategies, practice questions, in-class exercises and discussions, and exam-specific final assessments.
Associate Professional Human Resources Certification Preparation Program (aPHR)
Ideal for students new to HR or early in their HR career, this course offers an intensive review of the essentials of human resource management and serves as thorough preparation for those pursuing their aPHR certification, as well as a standalone course for non-HR professionals.
Professional Human Resources Certification Preparation Program (PHR/SPHR)
Ideal for experienced and senior HR professionals who are involved with planning and implementing HR programs and policies, the course can help students prepare and pass the exam based on your level of HR experience, solidifying your credibility as an HR leader.
HR Certification: Take Charge. Tackle That Test! Intensive Workshop (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
